Product Description

        White polyaluminum chloride is a new and efficient inorganic polymer flocculant, also known as high-purity iron free white polyaluminum chloride or food grade white polyaluminum chloride. It is made of aluminum hydroxide powder and high-purity hydrochloric acid by spray drying process. Compared with polyaluminum chloride of other colors, it has higher aluminum oxide content, lower salinity, and few water insoluble substances. Commonly used in fields that require high water quality, such as drinking water treatment, papermaking sizing, sugar decolorization and clarification.


Working Principle

       1. Compressed double layer: Colloidal particles in water have a surface charge, forming a double layer. The high valence cations such as aluminum ions generated after the dissolution of white polyaluminum chloride can compress the double layer of colloidal particles, reducing the electrostatic repulsion between particles and promoting their proximity and aggregation.

       2. Adsorption electro neutralization: The multi nuclear hydroxyl complex produced by hydrolysis can adsorb the surface charge of colloidal particles, neutralize their electrical properties, and cause the colloidal particles to lose stability, leading to aggregation.

       
3. Adsorption bridging: Long chain polyaluminum chloride molecules can simultaneously adsorb multiple colloidal particles, forming bridges between them to connect them into larger flocs.

       4. Net capture and sweeping: When the dosage is large, the hydrolyzed aluminum hydroxide precipitate will capture small particles in the water like a net, accelerating the sedimentation of particles.
