       The product is widely used in daily life, industry, liquid-phase adsorption, water purification, and gas-phase adsorption. Working Principle

       The adsorption effect of coconut shell activated carbon is mainly based on its unique pore structure and surface chemical properties.

       Physical adsorption: Its abundant micropores, mesopores, and macropores provide a large number of adsorption surfaces. When gas or liquid molecules approach the surface of activated carbon, they will be adsorbed on the pore surface due to van der Waals forces between molecules. Pores of different sizes have selective adsorption effects on substances of different molecular sizes. Micropores mainly adsorb small molecule substances, while mesopores and macropores facilitate the diffusion and adsorption of large molecule substances.

       Chemical adsorption: There are some functional groups on the surface of activated carbon, such as hydroxyl and carboxyl groups, which can react chemically with certain specific substances to form chemical bonds, thereby adsorbing the substances on the surface. For example, chemical adsorption can enhance the adsorption effect of activated carbon on polar molecules or substances with specific chemical properties.
